The link we were given to look at called "Web 2.0 for the Classroom Teacher" has a vast amount of links to use for the integration of technology in education. One link that I thought was particularly helpful for ME was called "How Stuff Works" located at http://computer.howstuffworks.com/wiki.htm
I keep hearing of "wikis" and am just not clear on what all of these are. I know about Wikipedia - in fact, I look many things up on it quite frequently. But what other wikis? It was interesting and thought provoking (based on the fact that these are areas that ANYONE can edit) to think about the purpose that wikis serve.

The article taught me something. I have been on Wikipedia before and noticed the edit version. I had questions (that were brought up in the article) about the damage the wrong person could do to the content. Since it is out there for a "community" of people to work on, it challenges me to do some research of my own to add to a wiki. Who knows. One day when I have nothing to do I will attempt to add a wiki myself. :)
